Governor Matt Bevin discussed his lack of knowledge on the subpoena for the names of JCPS teachers involved in the sick-outs, his belief that it shouldn’t be this difficult to obtain information on “illicit labor practices”, and why those who did not abuse the system have no reason to be concerned. He also talked about the increase in taxes for retired persons, Louisville’s budget issues and Lexington’s reaction to similar issues, the difficulty in passing pension reform, his opponents in the upcoming gubernatorial election, and Jeff Walz less-than-stellar coaching against UConn.
