Monster storm Florence is moving farther inland, threatening the Carolinas with days of catastrophic flood conditions. Waters are rising at record levels, submerging roads into and out of towns like Wilmington, where there is no escape. More than a dozen people have been killed and hundreds more are trapped inside their homes. North Carolina Gov.
