After her services, around 100 of Carmen’s classmates will board charter buses and make the 450-mile trip from Broward County to the state capital to meet with Florida state lawmakers and discuss potential solutions for the school-shooting phenomenon. Meanwhile, suspect Nikolas Cruz had a second court appearance on Monday. ABC’s Jim Ryan is there and talks with Tony.

The issue of gun control is once again front and center as President Trump says he is open to more background checks.  NBC News Radio’s Bill Zimpfer has the latest with Tony.
