President Trump laid out a new strategy for Afghanistan last night in a speech to the nation. It includes shifting from a time-based approach to conditional movements, integrating all instruments of American power, changing the relationship with Pakistan, and developing more partnerships with India. The president said he wouldn't publicly discuss numbers or movements.    Tony break's down the President's speech with NBC News Radio's Joe Gomez.

The U.S. Navy has ordered a pause in all operations in wake of the USS John S. McCain’s collision with an oil tanker, the second major incident involving a U.S. Navy ship in just two months. Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson also announced a review of several recent incidents involving U.S. Navy ships in the Pacific.  ABC's Louis Martinez is following this story and breaks it down with Tony.
