Louisville Beats Michigan To Advance In NCAA Baseball Tournament

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Cardinals are a step closer to Omaha. The Louisville baseball team rallied to defeat Michigan 11-9 to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals.

UofL turned a two-run deficit into a two-run lead with a Cameron Masterman home run in the eighth inning.

The game at Jim Patterson Stadium was delayed more than 90 minutes because of severe weather.

Louisville clinched its ninth NCAA Super Regional appearance with the win. The Cardinals will head to College Station, Texas to take on Texas A&M next weekend. The winner advances to the College World Series in Omaha.
