(Lexington, KY) - Police say someone fired a shot outside the Fayette County Courthouse following the announcement of a not guilty verdict in the Jacouri Burns murder trial.

Burns was acquitted Thursday of murder and assault charges in connection with the shooting death of aspiring rapper Lonnie Oxendine.

Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a fight broke out between the Burns and Oxendine families.

A car drove by while the scene was being cleared and a single shot was fired. No one was hit by the bullet. There have been no arrests.
