LEXINGTON, Ky. -- A sold-out crowd of 42,000 will pack Kroger Field Saturday night for the first-ever concert at the University of Kentucky football stadium.
Country star Chris Stapleton's "A Concert for Kentucky" is a benefit show that will also feature Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson.
The concert was initially set for April 2020, but was postponed twice during the pandemic.
Unlike at football games, alcohol will be served at Kroger Field during the concert.
Organizers are advising music fans to arrive early to avoid heavy traffic around the stadium.
