(Indianapolis, IN) - The UK basketball team is headed home early from the NCAA tournament.
The second-seeded Wildcats were upset in the first round by Saint Peter's Thursday night in Indianapolis. The final score was 85-79.
The loss was Kentucky's earliest exit from the dance since 2008. It was St. Peter's first-ever win in the NCAA tournament.
St. Peter's will next play Murray State in the second round. The Racers advanced following a 92-87 win over San Francisco.
