(Louisville, KY) - Revising the student assignment plan is the major priority of Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio.
During Thursday's State of the District Address, Pollio said it's been 40 years since there's been a major change to student assignments by JCPS.
Pollio says the current student assignment plan is inequitable, especially for students in west Louisville. He says building three new schools in west Louisville and revising the student assignment plan will ease the burden on students there.
