Bishop Fabre Appointed To Lead Archdiocese of Louisville

(Louisville, KY) - Louisville is getting a new Archbishop. 

Bishop Shelton Fabre has been appointed the new leader of the Archdiocese of Louisville.  Bishop Fabre has led a diocese in southern Louisiana for nearly a decade.

Archbishop Joseph Kurtz resigned as the leader of Louisville's Catholics last year on his 75th birthday, which is protocol within the Roman Catholic Church.
