Kentucky Legislators, Athletic Leaders Discuss Proposal For NIL Measure

(Lexington, KY) - Kentucky legislators and athletic leaders from three Kentucky universities are discussing a proposed measure that would benefit college athletes. 

The proposal would allow student-athletes to profit from the use of their name, image, and likeness. 

An executive order by Governor Andy Beshear already allows the NCAA's rules on the issue to apply In the commonwealth. 

The proposed legislation will go before the General Assembly in February.
