(Louisville, KY) - Public safety and affordable housing are among the priorities in Louisville's plan to spend nearly $263 million in American Rescue Plan funds.
The city will spend $35 million on implementing reforms to the Louisville Metro Police Department. About $31 million will be spent on violence prevention and deterrence programs, as well as youth programs.
Mayor Greg Fischer also says $100 million will go towards housing programs.
