LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A new low-cost airline is bringing its service to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.
Breeze Airways will offer non-stop service from Louisville to Tampa and Charleston, South Carolina beginning next week. In July, the airline will offer non-stop service from Louisville to New Orleans.
All flights will be four times weekly, and fares start at $39. Breeze Airways is an upstart created by David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue.
Breeze is the eighth airline to offer service in Louisville. Airport officials expect passenger traffic to return to pre-pandemic normal this summer.
