(Louisville, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear says he will lift many restrictions when the state reaches a goal of 2.5 million Kentuckians receiving at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
When the goal is reached, Beshear will lift capacity, distancing and curfew restrictions on businesses and events that cater to 1,000 or fewer patrons. That includes bars and restaurants.
Currently, just over 1.5 million Kentuckians have received a first dose of vaccine. Beshear says the goal could be reached in as little as three weeks.
