Kentucky and Southern Indiana are facing significant winter weather threats this week. Forecasters say there is the potential for significant amounts of freezing rain, sleet, and snow through Friday.
A Winter Weather Advisory was issued for northern and north-central Kentucky and continues into Tuesday night. A Winter Storm Watch is out for most of the state late Tuesday through Thursday.
Significant amounts of freezing rain, sleet, snow, and rain are expected with this second system.
