KY AG Confirms Receiving Ballistics Report in Breonna Taylor Case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron says he has received a long-awaited FBI ballistics report in the fatal police shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Cameron made the announcement on CBS' Face the Nation, saying additional analysis is needed in the case.

He then tweeted that his office does not plan to make an announcement this week on whether any criminal charges would be filed against the officers involved in Taylor's death.

Taylor was shot several times by officers who went to her apartment with a no-knock search warrant as part of a drug investigation. The officers were met with gunfire from Taylor's boyfriend, Kenneth Walker.

Taylor's death sparked protests in the city and across the country.
