SEC To Disinfect Basketballs During Tournament Because Of Coronavirus

Coronavirus Cases Causes Johns Hopkins To Ban Fans At NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament

(Nashville, TN) - The Southeastern Conference tournament will go on as planned, but with some precautions taken.

Basketballs will be sanitized with hospital grade disinfectant after each practice and game, as well as locker rooms before teams arrive and when they leave.

Team benches, band and cheerleader seating areas will be sanitized after each game.

Hand sanitizers will be available at arena entrances, at the scorer's table, in officials' locker rooms, and operations offices.
