JCPS Schools To Remain Open Despite Jefferson Co. Coronavirus Case

(Louisville, KY) - JCPS is reacting following the confirmation of Jefferson County's first case of coronavirus.

The district says classes will go on as planned Monday.

JCPS officials say the district will remain open unless they get new information and guidance from the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health.

However, JCPS says since there's a COVID-19 case within the county, it will enact a Level 5 Pandemic Preparedness plan.
