Kentucky House Passes Bill To Limit Price Of Insulin

(Frankfort, KY) - A bill in Kentucky is moving forward that would limit the price of insulin in the state.

The Kentucky House passed a bill Wednesday that would cap the cost of the drug at just $100 a month, regardless of the amount or type of insulin needed per prescription.

The bill states that about half a million Kentuckians have been diagnosed with diabetes, and most struggle to pay for their insulin prescriptions.

If the bill is signed into law, Kentucky would be the third state to put a price cap on insulin.
