(Frankfort, KY) - Staffing issues have delayed Kentucky's new drivers license roll out.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the there's significant workload and staffing issues in the three counties where the program is being piloted.
The state is currently halting efforts to bring the Real ID cards to other counties at this time.
Existing licenses are still valid until they expire.
