(Louisville, KY) - Several areas of Louisville are being fogged for mosquitoes this week.

The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness says the fogging will take place due to a large number of mosquitoes that have tested positive for West Nile virus.

Irish Hill, Poplar Level Road, Crescent Hill, Iroquois, Riverpark and the Churchill Downs areas will all be treated this week.

Officials are asking drivers to try not to park on the streets, don't tailgate the fogging truck and stay indoors during the fogging.
