(Lexington, KY) - The parents of Marco Shemwell are suing Alpha Tau Omega following the death of their child outside a University of Kentucky football game.
The parents' suit alleges that a culture of underage drinking and other dangerous practices by the fraternity led to their child's death.
The four-year-old was killed in September 2018 after being hit by a car near Kroger field.
Authorities say the car was driven by then-freshman and ATO pledge Jacob Heil, who is facing reckless homicide and DUI in the boy's death.
