Mayor Fischer Meets With White House Over Gun Reform

(Louisville, KY) - Mayor Greg Fischer was in the nation's capital Monday to talk about gun reform with White House officials.

The meeting included nearly a dozen mayors and a few police chiefs from across the country.

Mayor Fischer called the meeting constructive.

The same group will meet with senators on Capitol Hill Tuesday, asking them to pass bipartisan legislation to expand background checks.
