(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Matt Bevin is filing an appeal of a federal judge's decision ruling a Kentucky abortion law unconstitutional.

Last week, the judge voided the law making the most common types of second trimester abortions illegal.

The judge said the law was a violation of the 14th Amendment.

Governor Bevin says he'll take the case all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary to prevent unborn children from being dismembered.
