LMPD Officers Accused Of Working Private Security During Patrol Shifts

(Louisville, KY) - Six Louisville Metro police officers are accused of working private security jobs during their patrol shifts.

The officers were indicted Monday on felony theft charges.

The indictment alleges the scheme took place between January and November 2018, with thefts ranging somewhere over $500 but less than $10,000.

The security jobs were arranged by a company created by one of the accused officers.
