HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. -- A Kentucky police officer is recovering after being shot while chasing robbery suspects.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Jeremy Davidson was trying to stop a stolen pick-up truck when a suspect opened fire on his patrol car.
Davidson was shot in the head and arm. Chief Clayton Sumner says Davidson is in stable condition at a hospital in Nashville.
One suspect was captured in nearby Clarksville, Tennessee.
Last year, an off-duty Hopkinsville officer was fatally shot by a man who was later killed by law enforcement in Tennessee.
