LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- After launching with much fanfare in 2017, Google Fiber has announced it is ending its high-speed internet service in Louisville as of April 15th.
On its blog, Google says they've encountered challenges that have been disruptive to residents and caused service issues for customers.
The company says it would need to essentially rebuild its entire network in Louisville, and "that’s just not the right business decision for us." It adds that the final two months of service will be free to customers.
