(Louisville, KY) - Alleged fiscal misconduct is the reason UofL Ladybirds dance team coach Todd Sharp was dismissed.
The firing followed a review of the Cheer and Dance program done by University of Louisville Audit Services.
NewsRadio 840 WHAS reporter Will Clark received Sharp's termination letter Tuesday following an open records request.
Less than $30,000 was in an athletic account during a period of inspection when $70,000 was expected.
A termination letter dated December 14th says there was evidence Sharp directed money to be submitted directly to him in cash.
