SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. -- Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Bullitt County.
The governor's office says Walmart will invest $41 million on a new e-commerce fulfillment center in Shepherdsville and create 400 full-time jobs.
The center, which will open later this fall, will be dedicated to fulfilling online orders from Walmart.com and its subsidiary Jet.com.
In addition to full-time workers, the facility wll eventually employ several hundred temporary workers, including seasonal employees.
The state approved up to $3 million in tax incentives for Walmart.
