Schnatter Rips Papa John's & CEO For Company's Poor Earnings

(Louisville, KY) - Papa John's founder John Schnatter is blasting the company and its management following poor second-quarter earnings.

The company announced Tuesday sales dropped six percent in the second quarter, and more than ten percent last month.

The company's shares have fallen nearly 20 percent since it was revealed last month that Schnatter used a racial slur during a conference call months earlier.

Following the report Schnatter issued a statement blaming CEO Steve Ritchie for failing to confront the company's real issues and deflecting the blame on him.
