(Louisville, KY) - A Jefferson County appeals board is expected to decide the assessed value of Governor Bevin's Louisville-area home by the end of the week.
Monday, Bevin's lawyers said the value of the property should remain just under $1.5 million dollars.
The county claimed changes to the property mean it should be assessed at nearly $3 million dollars for 2018.
Bevin's side said the increase is based on politics while the county claimed it's based on upgrades to sewer lines and additional square footage.
