LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Five members of Louisville's 2013 basketball team are suing to get their championship banner back.
The group, led by Luke Hancock, has filed a "false light" suit against the NCAA in state court. They claim the NCAA damaged their reputations and affected their potential incomes when it stripped the school of its title after the sex scandal.
Hancock claims he can't go more than a couple of days without someone asking if he was involved with a stripper, and it's affecting his ability to make a living.
The former players are looking for the return of the title along with compensatory and other monetary damages.
The group is represented by attorney John Morgan of the national law firm Morgan & Morgan.
