LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- New parking lots and new suites stand ready to meet the crowds at Churchill Downs.
Outside the track, fans will find a new layout to the onsite parking and the new Paddock Gate which will serve the crowds arriving at the new transportation center. The on-track parking lots are all reserved starting Saturday night through Derby Day but all reserved seat tickets include parking at the Kentucky Expo Center with shuttle access to the track.
Inside, the 36 new Starting Gate Suites sit atop the grandstands at the top of the stretch, adding 1,800 seats to the track capacity.
The 30 person suites were sold sight unseen as construction was progressing with fans paying $130,000 for Oaks and Derby.
