The season is over for the Kentucky Wildcats following a 61-58 loss to Kansas State in the NCAA South Region Semifinal in Atlanta.
P.J. Washington led UK in scoring with 18 points along with 15 rebounds but shot just 8-20 from the free throw lane. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 15 points and Kevin Knox scored 13 for the Cats.
Kentucky will return to Lexington and the wait is on to see which of the team's players will return or head to the NBA.
Kansas State will face Loyola-Chicago on Saturday for a trip to the Final Four.
