BENTON, Ky. -- The 15-year-old suspect in the Marshall County High School shooting has made his first court appearance Thursday.
During a probable cause detention hearing in juvenile court, a judge ordered that the boy be held in custody as he faces murder and assault charges.
Prosecutors say they will seek to move the case to circuit court, where the suspect would be tried as an adult.
The boy is accused of killing two classmates and wounding more than a dozen others.
