LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Mother Nature says turkeys can't fly, but the TSA says they can.
The advice comes as an estimated four million people take to the skies for the Thanksgiving travel period that runs through the weekend.
The TSA says along with the turkey, pies, stuffing and rolls can be carried on but any liquids like gravy or jellies should be checked.
They say you can bring your favorite carving knife if you'd like but it has to be in a checked bag.
Triple-A says an estimated 51 million people will make some kind of Thanksgiving trip of over 50 miles.
