LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A day after President Trump declared the opioid crisis a public health emergency, federal officials are announcing a "National Prescription Drug Take Back Day."
The goal is to get people to empty their medicine cabinets of unwanted and expired prescriptions.
Russell Coleman -- the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky -- says young people are first exposed to drugs in their family's medicine cabinets.
The Drug Take Back Day is tomorrow. You can find a list of drop-off locations at DEATakeBack.com.
