LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Kentucky Derby has a new presenting sponsor.
The race will now be known as The Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve as part of a new five year agreement between Churchill Downs and Brown-Forman.
Brown-Forman replaces Yum! Brands which asked Churchill Downs if they could get out of the sponsorship early to refocus their marketing efforts.
Brown-Forman officials say they are still finalizing their marketing plans for the sponsorship.
Terms of the deal were not released.
