WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A Kentucky man in custody after a bizarre attempt to enter the White House.
Washington, D.C. Police say Curtis Combs of Somerset climbed over a concrete barrier south of the White House Tuesday morning. Police say the 36-year-old was dressed as Pokemon character Pikachu, and dropped a backpack along the way. An investigation determined the backpack held nothing hazardous.
Combs is charged with unlawful entry.
The Secret Service has not said if Combs provided any reason for climbing over the barrier.
