Trent Johnson Joins Louisville Coaching Staff

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The basketball coach staff at Louisville is getting some experience as it battles through the bribery scandal that has rocked the program.

Acting coach David Padgett has named Trent Johnson as an assistant coach.    

Johnson has 36 years of experience, including head coaching jobs at Nevada, Stanford, LSU and TCU.   

Rick Pitino and two assistants were suspended in the wake of the federal bribery investigation.
