LOUISVILLE, Ky -- The Saturday forecast is for sunshine and cold beer at the 3rd Annual Jeffersontown Summer Craft Beer Fest. The Beerfest is not like many others, its designed to attract people to craft beer who don't normally drink craft beer.
There are 30 plus breweries and four wineries set to be there as well as other vendors including food trucks. Small Town Brewery is creating unique root beer slushies, made with its own "Not Your Father's Root Beer," its a hard root beer.
The Beerfest is being held at the Chamber Jeffersontown, where the farmers market is usually located. It runs from 4pm to 8pm. Ticket information can be found at www.jtownbeerfest.com.
