U2 Brings 64 Trucks And Nearly Four Decades Of Hits To Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- 64 trucks and an army of techies are turning Papa John's Cardinal Stadium from a football field to a concert venue.

A massive steel skeleton fills what is normally the north end zone of the stadium, delivered by 32 trucks that are essential to U2's "Joshua Tree" tour. Another 32 trucks and 8 buses contain the rest of the stage equipment and the 100 or so crew members it takes to put the show on.

Tour Director Craig Evans says Papa John's Cardinal Stadium "plays perfectly to this show."

Evans says every seat will have a video and audio experience "they've never had before."

Evans says there are still seats available and the show will go on rain or shine.
