Louisville Baseball Staying Home This Postseason

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville baseball is staying home this postseason and that’s a good thing.

The Cards road to the College World Series starts with the ACC Tournament, making its debut at Louisville Slugger Field.

Head coach Dan McDonnell says he's treating the week like he would the week leading up to an on-campus Regional game, taking advantage of being able to use their own facilities and sleep in their own beds.

ACC Player of the Year Brendan McKay says they see the tournament as one of the toughest in the nation but believe it could be a springboard to an Omaha trip.

The tournament starts Tuesday while Louisville opens play Thursday night against Notre Dame.
