INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- Basketball fans traveling from Kentucky to Indianapolis for the NCAA Tournament need to be weary of fake tickets.
The Indiana Attorney General's Office says historically, they've seen ticket scams increase during tournament time. The only way to ensure you have a real ticket is to buy straight from the source.
If you have to buy from a person, get their name and number or compare their tickets to a real one.
Unfortunately, if you do end up with a fake ticket, you're out of that money.
The best thing you can do is trust your gut: If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
