LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Simmons College has caught the eye of the NBA.
The historically black college will appear on NBA TV, focusing on the efforts of Jerry Eaves and Butch Beard to build a basketball team.
Eaves says the crew from "Beyond The Paint" followed the team through practice, class, work and a game. He says the production crew plans on coming back to do a follow up on the team for a future episode of the show.
The show premieres Tuesday, March 7 at 11 p.m. on NBA TV and Eaves says it will air 16 more times, including once on TBS.
