LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A man changing a tire uncovers a mystery.
LMPD says a driver was changing a tire along Outer Loop Saturday morning when he saw a set of bones down an embankment.
Investigators say after an autopsy they believe the skeleton was that of a white male of Native American decent in his late 50's or 60's.
Homicide Lt. Emily McKinley says the body may have been there since fall of last year and that detectives are combing through missing person reports for a possible match.
McKinley says there was no foul play detected in the autopsy but they are not ruling that out.
