LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A DNA tests gets one of LMPD's most wanted off the streets.
33 year old Wadell Baker was picked up last week on two outstanding warrants from incidents in 2016.
The first incident, a sexual assault in May, left the victim in what LMPD called "grave condition" but also gave investigators the DNA evidence needed to connect Baker to the crime.
LMPD Sgt. Tim Stokes says Baker was also involved in a domestic incident in August that added more charges and a second warrant.
Baker is currently being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
