Woman Files Protective Order the Day Before Her Death

BEDFORD, Ky. -- A woman killed at a Trimble county doctor's office on Valentine's Day filed a protective order against her killer the day before her death.

Lora Cable was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Riddle, at First Young Medical Center in Bedford. Riddle was arrested after a several hour long man-hunt.

Trimble County Circuit Court documents show that Cable filed a Domestic Abuse protective order against Riddle on the 13th, saying he was not to have any "unlawful contact" with her until December when the order would be reviewed.

Riddle faces a murder charge for Cable's death and is expected in court on Tuesday.
