Trespasser Does Over $20,000 In Damage To Papa John's Cardinal Stadium

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A trespasser does over $20,000 in damage at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Crews working on the expansion of the stadium saw 20 year old Kameron Davenport Monday morning and called University of Louisville police. Arrest records say Davenport fought with officers, leaving one with an arm injury. U of L spokesman Rocco Gasparro says Davenport tore about 70 yards of the wrap that surrounds the field and damaged a rotating display sign. He says it will cost $21,000 to repair the damage. Davenport also kicked out the back window of the squad car.  He is charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, criminal trespass, assault on a police officer and criminal mischief.
