FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Former Kentucky lawmaker Steve Nunn will remain in prison for the murder of his ex-fiance.
The state Supreme Court denied Steve Nunn's request to review an appeals court ruling that upheld his guilty plea and sentence.
The former representative is serving life in prison without parole for the 2009 ambush killing of Amanda Ross in Lexington
.Two years after his plea, Nunn began asking the courts to set aside his sentence, arguing his attorney provided ineffective assistance.
